You are not tied to an organised package of guided fishing so can fish where you want, when you want and for as long as you want. However, we do have contacts with guides at the renowned Ebro "hotspots" of Riba-Roja and Mequinenza. So if you fancy a day or two with a guide at any of these places we'll gladly arrange it for you.
Fishing tackle is available to hire (carp rods, reels, landing net, mat, chair) and fishing licences can be arranged to be ready on arrival. Or you can bring your own gear and use the spacious garage for tackling-up and storage, and where there is also a fridge to store bait.

Surrounding Area
Nestled in the Ebro Valley, Mora d`Ebre is a thriving agricultural town with a population of around 5000. Although a small town, it is the capital of Ribera d' Ebre County and has excellent road and rail links to the rest of Catalonia and Spain. It is only 40 mins from Reus airport and just short of 2 hours from Barcelona.
Within Mora d'Ebre you will find a wide variety of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and stylish shops, banks and 2 internet cafes. Alongside these modern facilities the community still retains its rural feel. It is not unusual to see shepherds leading their flocks down to the riverbank to graze or farmers driving tractors through town with their trailers brimming with peaches, grapes or other fruits.
Mora has a municipal outdoor swimming-pool which has 3 pools, lawns for sunbathing and a small bar and restaurant - perfect for those hot summer days.
And of course there are the fiestas! Our two main fiestas are the Mora Morisca in early July and the Fiesta Major during the last week in August. The streets and houses are swathed in banners, there are parades, boat races, music and dance shows, handicrafts and fireworks. And if you can stand the pace you can dance in the street to live rock bands until 5 or 6 in the morning! If you want to experience authentic Catalan culture - then book your holiday for fiesta time!
Described by the Tourist Board as a new area for rural tourism the "Terres de l'Ebre" have a wealth of surprises for the discerning tourist. It is truly a beautiful area with an incredibly diverse landscape which will delight walkers, birders and nature lovers. Three major cities (Tarragona, Reus and Tortosa) offer historical sites of international importance and ancient, picturesque villages still retain their character and crafts. River Ebro Valley
A fertile river valley which is a patchwork of neat fields growing peach, pear, cherry, orange, olive and almond trees. It is a delight to see in Spring when the trees are in blossom and the wild poppies and margaritas flower. The River Ebro of course is also a magnet for anglers who come to catch the massive catfish and wild carp. Els Ports Natural Park and Montsant Natural Park
The Els Ports mountains in Terra Alta rise to the West of the valley and the Serra del Montsant to the East. Rising to a maximum height of 1447 metres it is wild and craggy landscape with large areas of pine forest. This untamed land is the habitat of a rich variety of wildlife such as the wild cat, the mountain goat, wild boar, vulture and golden eagle. Fantastic, virtually unknown walking trails and stunning landscapes. Also excellent climbing areas. The Ebro Delta Natural Park
Where the river meets the Mediterranean you will find the Ebro Delta. In contrast to the mountains left behind this is completely flat land covering an area of 320sq kilometres. It is a watery land of lagoons, rice paddies, salt lakes and reed beds which form a unique ecosystem supporting hundreds of species of birds. The sand dunes and deserted beaches are also perfect for a quiet day relaxing in the sun. The Costa Dorada
The golden sands of the Costa Dorada are only 30 minutes away. Take your pick from deserted coves, pretty fishing ports or low-key resorts.
