On offer is fishing at one of Spain's undisputed finest fishing venues, The River Guadiana. This untapped river incorporating its lakes includes the Legendary Orellana, the Serena and Cijara, these lakes have been created by dams dating from the early 1960's and boasts some of the finest Carp, Barbel and Pike fishing in Spain.

Using the vast experience of our local guides we offer you the chance to fish for Carp, Black Bass, Pike, Barbel and the awesome Comizo Barbel all reaching specimen size in this river system.

Anglers of all abilities are catered for, and tuition and tackle guidance is available on request for those unfamiliar with the demands of specimen fishing, .

Location
This venue is located in the stunning region of Extremadura with the river and four lakes all on our doorstep!!!

The luxury air-conditioned seven seater vehicle will be waiting on your arrival at Madrid or Seville Airports, to transfer you on a scenic journey, approximately three and two and half hours respectively, to this location.

Fishing venues are only minutes away, with a choice of four lakes all within a 15 minute drive.

Flights
Flights are not included in the package price.  However, a return flight can be found for less than £60.00 return.

Flights will soon available to the new Ciudad Real Airport, just over one and half hours way.

Specimen Carp fishing                                                   
One for the specimen angler to take the opportunity to try and improve a 'personal best' or land a 'fish of a lifetime' This area is where several top carp anglers have predicted a new European record will come from, already it has produced several fish around the 70lb mark.

The Orellana Carp provide great sport, not only for the serious Carp angler but pleasure Carp anglers alike; they fight like tigers and have almost certainly never been caught before. This is by NO means an 'easy water' but our guests have had up to 18 runs in ONE session and fish we are catching average over 25lb.

Sierra Brava is a relatively young lake, the dam that forms this impressive water was constructed in 1996. The lake, with its many bays and submerged trees, is home to many large fish to over

Bait - An ample supply of prepared partical consisting of maize, maize pellet, wheat, halibut pellet, tiger nuts, habas beans and other goodies. For hookbaits an amount of quality boilies from A-Tract baits. All necessary equipment except for end tackle.

Enjoy a scenic airport transfer in our luxury air-conditioned 7-seater and daily transport to the various swims in a 4x4 vehicle.

Accommodation
Self-catering accommodation is in a modern typical Spanish townhouse (sleeps 6) with 2 twin and 2 single bedrooms. A fully equipped kitchen, bait freezer and storage room. It is centrally located for fishing venues and close to all amenities including bars and restaurants.

To ensure a hassle and stress free holiday and not to disrupt your fishing, this venue can arrange to do all of your shopping for you or take you to one of the local supermarkets. This service is included in the package.

For evening meals, a typical Spanish "Menu Del Dia" is available at several local restaurants or bars, consisting of a 3 or 4-course meal including a drink, for approximately 9 Euros.

Your group will NOT share the Town House accommodation with any other party.

Accommodation on a full board basis can be provided for an additional fee.

Specimen Barbel fishing
The Comizo Barbel thrives in this river, the chance to catch this hard-fighting fish which is native to Spain and grows in excess of 35lb. Come and have a go at these “Animals” The Common Barbel grow in excess of 20lb and the Comizo Barbel native to Spain, this species thrives in the Guadiana river system and grow in excess of 40lb. Pursuing the Comizo Barbel is an awesome experience for even the most accomplished angler.

Carp and Barbel pleasure fishing 
Your chance to experience this fantastic fishing along a variety of venues with the main quarry being Barbel and the odd Carp.

“A bite a Chuck” is the norm to all methods including waggler, bomb and feeder. Fish in the 2-4lb bracket provide great sport, mainly Barbel and the odd Carp although many fish to specimen size are present and regularly hooked. Catches of 40 Barbel a session is a regular event.
