There can hardly be a part of Ireland better known to tourists than the world famous 'Ring of Kerry'! What is not so well known is that the sea surrounding the peninsula is rich in prime fish. Offshore are such famous marks as The Skelligs and Puffin Rock, areas of broken ground and underwater pinnacle rock, all within a few sea mile of harbours at Portmagee and Derrynane.

Our charter boats, one operating from the north-west and the other from the south-west of the 'Ring', both fish the established marks as well as drifting the more open ground for bottom fish and shark, when the predators put in their annual appearance. Many species are caught: pollack, coalfish, cod, ling, conger, skate and rays, tope, various flatfish species and there is always the chance of hooking an exotic species during the warmer months of each year.
