The Charter Boats
Fenit-Tralee Bay has first class charter boats and experienced skippers and offers some of the best fishing form this area, see below.

The M.V. 'Corulan' skippered by Michael Moriarty
A modern charter boat fitted with all the modern electronic and safety gear necessary to efficiently fish in all weather conditions. The Corulan operates in areas that includes Fenit, Brandon bay, Tralee Bay and Kerry Head, for a mixture of reef, shark angling and general inshore
angling for a wide range of species.

M.V. 'Kerry Coleen II'
This Mitchell 31 Sea Angler, powered by a 270hp Sole diesel can cruise to the best of Tralee bay's fishing grounds at 20 knots in comfort. Owned by Celtic Sea Angling, she is skippered by John Deady. 'Kerry Coleen II' is fully fitted with the most modern gear and fishing equipment.

Fenit and Tralee Bay
There are few bays, in Ireland, of such size and variety of seabed. Close to Fenit a mixture of mud and sand, further toward the Maharees begins the broken ground, while off Brandon and down toward Sybil Head pinnacles appear and the bottom gets rough. What a choice!

Fenit sits at the head of the Tralee Bay. A long pier, built years ago to accommodate trans-Atlantic liners, provides a safe harbour for boats and a stand for shore anglers. Yes, there is relatively deep water just off the Fenit pier.

Godleys Hotel, Fenit

The West End Bar & Restuarant, Fenit
Dan and Madeline O'Keefe run the West End Bar, a pub, restaurant and guesthouse, in the village of Fenit overlooking Tralee Bay only yards from the beach and pier. All bedrooms are en-suite and accommodation is on a Bed & Breakfast or half-board basis.
