The M.V. 'Sharpshooter'
This sea angling craft is an Aqua-Star 38, powered by a 350 hp engine giving a cruising speed between 15-21 knots. The boat is insured for 12 people. The latest marine electrics are fitted, colour fishfinder/ plotter, 2 VHF sets, GPS EPIRB and auto pilot. Our skipper, John O'Connor is both an
experienced angler and a qualified
Merchant Navy officer.

Dunmore East,
reef wreck and shark fishing
Off the Waterford Coast there was very heavy U-boat action in the First World War. The result is the heaviest concentration of shipwrecks around Ireland. Many are within an hour's sailing out of Dunmore East. Another area of excellent marks is 'The Reefs' off Hook Head. Twenty species of fish are not an uncommon catch when fishing out from this port. Included are; conger, ling, cod, pollock, coalfish, bass, whiting, gurnards, flounder, dabs, dogfish and blue shark. It is easy to get to the port. Rosslare is 50 miles away. The car ferry, crossing the joint estuary of the Rivers Barrow and Suir lies upstream 7 miles north of Dunmore East

The Ocean Hotel
Owned and run by the Gallagher Family, the hotel is situated in the upper village, two minutes walk from the harbour. Being the nearest hotel to the harbour, it has a long tradition of service to fishing, both commercial and sport.

There are 14 bedrooms, all en-suite with direct-dial telephone and TV. The restaurant has a reputation for excellent cuisine and meals are also served in the bar. Entertainment most nights during the summer and every weekend, all year round.

Creaden View guesthouse
A beautiful small guesthouse, providing bed & breakfast accommodation, placed in the heart of the village beside the harbour and sailing club. All bedrooms are en-suite, with TV, hairdryer and beverage making facilities. Creaden View is within walking distance of the beaches, restaurants and bars.
