The Charter Boats
Dingle Peninsula has first class charter boats and experienced skippers and offers some of the best fishing form this area.

The traditionally warm waters off the south west are an angler’s paradise, with pollack, blue shark, tope, dogfish and other deep sea species.

Wild water, a seabed of pinnacle rock kelp beds and massive fissures forming enormous caverns in the bottom are exactly the reason why there's great fishing in and around Dingle. Dangerous country for terminal rigs but that's where the fish inhabit! Dingle was famous for its surf beaches, haunted by bass feeding in the breakers....but, times change! Now the accent is on fishing offshore, around the Blasket Islands and out to the west.

Anglers Rest, Ventry, Dingle
A family owned and operated guesthouse a few miles beyond Dingle town on the road to Slea Head. Maureen and skipper Nick O'Conner provide both accommodation and a sea angler's charter boat. Sea anglers have been staying for over 20 years at the Anglers Rest. The O'Conner's have a comfortable guesthouse, offering en-suite bedrooms, Bed and Breakfast terms, part board and evening meals. There is ample parking here too.

Self catering accommodation at Ventry
A beautiful traditional house three bedrooms, sleeping 6 anglers. There is a living room, kitchen/dinning room, bathroom with shower and electric central heating throughout. The house also features an open fire, colour TV, a microwave, laundry facilities including washing machine and dryer.
