The M.V. Deva
The Deva charter boat, Kilbaha, West Clare, Ireland Enjoy a scenic day trip, dolphin watching or fishing trip on the angling boat The Deva.  The Deva a 38ft Aquastar boat is a licensed craft and can hold up to 12 Passengers. An additional craft can be acquired for groups larger than 12. Fishing Trips depart from Kilbaha Pier at regular intervals to rich fishing grounds off Loophead Lighthouse. The boat is skippered by an experienced local fisherman with extensive knowledge of the area. Fishing Rods and tackle can also be rented for your trip from the Skipper and first time fishing enthusiasts are always very welcome. The boat has been approved by the Dept. of Communications, Marine & Natural Resources and has also been approved by the National Parks & Wild Life Services. Angling trips on The Deva can be arranged directly with the skipper or included in your stay at The Lighthouse Inn.

Carrigaholt Sea Angling Centre is based in the fishing village of Carrigaholt on the south side of the loop head peninsula, where the Shannon estuary meets the rich fishing grounds of Ireland's south west coast.The Centre runs a 37 foot Lochin 366 called the Clare Dragoon and the boat is licensed to carry up to 12 persons up to 30 miles from the shore, is fully insured and is well equipped with safety gear.

Situated in the West Clare fishing village of Kilbaha at the tip of the Loophead Peninsula overlooking the River Shannon. The Lighthouse Inn, a family run bed & breakfast with a fabulous seafood restaurant, is a haven for sea lovers and for those seeking a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.

It's the ideal starting point for spectacular cliff walks which lead to Loophead Lighthouse from where some of the highest cliffs in Europe can be seen or to the geological formation of the Bridges of Ross located on the northside of the peninsula. Beside the Bridges of Ross are fishing grounds which are also a very popular tourist attraction.

At the Lighthouse Inn you are assured of a warm and friendly welcome from management and staff who pride themselves in ensuring your holiday will be a great experience. The Lighthouse Inn boasts an excellent fresh seafood restaurant with magnificient views of the River Shannon where you can enjoy lunch or evening meal in pleasant surroundings. Entertainment is provided mid-week & at weekends by Ceili and traditional groups for which West Clare is famous.

The Lighthouse Inn is adjacent to Kilbaha Pier from where angling trips depart daily. Angling can be arranged directly or included in your stay.

Glencarrig Guesthouse, Carrigaholt
An farmhouse just over a mile from the pier at Carrigaholt and built on accommodation for up to eight guests in four en-suite bedrooms. There is also a sitting room where guests can relax after a hard days fishing and play cards or watch TV, and a recreation room with a pool table and dartboard, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge for the occasional bottle of beer.

Breakfast and dinner is served in the house dining room and this is where you realise you are on to more than just good fishing and a comfortable bed.
