OUT ONTO THE OPEN SEA
WITH HEIDRIKUR

This 20 ton decked boat makes it possible to take long trips. Fishing north of the Faroe Islands, as well as west of Vágoy, usually proves very successful. The destination depends on the weather and current conditions as well as the preferences of the passengers.

Conditions on board the Heiðrikur are excellent for hauling in your catch and cleaning the fish, and each person may take 20 kilos ashore. Fishing equipment can be hired or bring your own. When the movie “Hooked” on deep sea fishing was filmed on the Faroe Islands, Heiðrikur was used for the purpose. All year you may catch halibut, cod, pollock and two types of haddock.
