Enjoy the virgin Faroese coastline while you throw your line into one of the cleanest waters in the world. The dramatic architecture of this stunning landscape provides an ideal backdrop for a satisfying fishing experience.

“Komet” fishes North of Borðoy and South and southeast of Borðoy. This is probably one of the best fishing areas in the Faroes. Fishing is done using rods, brought onboard by the passengers themselves or rented onboard "Komet".

There are good opportunities for fishing where specimen halibut and huge cod abound in the pristine waters of the North Atlantic.  Other species to be caught: small and large haddock, large plaice and saithe.

FISHING WITH DREAM SHIP “DRAGIN”

“DRAGIN” This dream sailing ship has been restored to a very high standard and although used as a training vessel for most of the year, we are offering a different Deep Sea Fishing Adventure and feel sure that it will live up to your expectations. The Dragin sails from Klaksvík and Leirvík. Depending on weather and current conditions, it sails in Kallsoyarførdur, Leirvíksfjørdur and Djupini where huge cod await you. You will need to bring your own fishing equipment for this holiday.
