Cyprus offers spectacular underwater terrain, valleys, caves and cliffs with superb fish life such as morays, grouper and members of the wrasse family… and the occasional octopus. Divers are transported on a 15m motor sailer speedboat back-up. Land transport is by Land Rovers.
There are full day outings, night dives all organised weekly, with half-day dives twice daily. Sea temperatures average 25 °C in August with little in the way of sea currents or tide. Experienced wreck divers can visit modern hulks or ancient wrecks of vessels sunk more than 2000 years ago.
The dive centre, CYDIVE, is on Paphos seafront, close to hotels in the town. CYDIVE is ideally set up for courses to all levels. Experienced highly qualified instructors take small groups for all practical sessions and dives. For the complete beginner, CYDIVE run a half day Discover Scuba Diving programme.
