Cyprus is an island of winemakers. One dessert wine ‘Commandaria’ has had the same name since the 12th century! There are so many different wines made, suiting all tastes, including sherries, liqueurs and brandies.

Four major wineries can be found on the island through there are many small makers to be seen. Visits to wineries can be arranged and there are usually free tastings for tourists interested in this ancient art.
